“Let’s GOOGLE” ! Is all that we say when we need to know something!

Just because its faster and you were lazy to flip the pages of your book to know its meaning or translation- Have you ever translated your school or college language assignments using google translate when you had do it with your reader? Have you ever forgotten a particular word in your own mother tongue but didn't want to think what it is, but had used google translate to not get embarrassed ? Have you translated an unknown word that people are asking meaning for and acted as though you knew it? Haha! it was the go-to-destination for many of us!

Google translate is a one of the biggest inventions of google to the world! That made translation quick and us lazy ! It’s a multilingual translation service application helping people to translate whatever they want to know in their convenient language. Google translator, translates over 109 languages and as per research, over 100 billion words are translated daily with over 500+ million users over the world. Not only words but, still or live video images, paragraphs, documents, speech, websites, etc., can be translated in your comfortable language with ease. while document translation, the documents should be in either of this form, of: , .doc, .docx, .odf, .pdf, .ppt, .pptx, .ps, .rtf, .txt, .xls, .xlsx.

Google Translate provides pronunciations, dictionary, listening to translate to its users. It has now introduced a new update wherein translation is available in offline mode just using mobile phone. It has also added a feature called “Tap to translate” where one can instantly translate anything being inside a application without exiting the application.

People can enter their text as per their convenience- by simply typing via keyboard, handwriting recognition wherein you can write that word on a digital white board, or speech recognition in which you use the speaker icon in the application to tell your word for it to translate, you can use this when you aren't aware of exact spelling.

Though google does its best to serve us with its translation service, at times some language translation with different syntax gets a bit messy like Japanese and English because the words with corresponding meaning may be present in a completely different places in the sentences, it often produces translation that contain significant errors , and it doesn't have any systems to correct for translation errors, hence we wouldn't know if the translation is right or not.75

I would like to conclude saying that though sometimes its google translate is great for many language translation, I would say not to fully rely on it, you wouldn't want to use it for anything of great importance, if its of high importance make sure you learn it or have a native speaker to proof read and review it.58
